About NVSRS
NVSRS is a non-profit group of vintage snowmobile enthusiasts that promote fundraising through racing for other organizations. Our annual membership for 2008 consisted of approximately 200 racers. NVSRS has a grass drag (non-points race), 2 endurance (non-points races) and 6 ice oval (point races) races scheduled for the 2009 season.
Our organization has implemented a set of rules and guidelines for snowmobile races that are hosted by various organizations throughout our area. These organizations raise funds by collecting entry fees at their hosted event.
Current hosts for this six race series include: Harshaw Wanderers Snowmobile Club, Rhinelander Fire Department, Woodboro and Crescent First Responders, Stella Fire Department, BoBoen (St. Germain) Snowmobile Club, and Sugar Camp Snowmobile Club.
NVSRS receives sponsorship help from other groups and businesses that help us promote and advertise the events.
