KMA Racing Team – Snowmobile Watercross

Arlen Peterson raced snowmobile watercross in the IWA Association, taking his first World Championship in 2006 at Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Peterson, however, credits his son Eric with getting him involved in snowmobile watercross racing and helping him win his watercross titles. Their team, KMA Racing, raced out of Frederic, Wisconsin.

IWA Watercross President for both the 2005 & 2006 season, Arlen raced a  2001 Ski-doo 800 MXZX  Stock sled. At 51 years of age, he raced in both the Pro Stock and Pro Vet ovals wearing bib #449.

Arlen’s sponsors included KMA Racing, B & D Repair, Indian Creek Tavern, Pauls Custom Covers, Frederic Auto Body, A-1 Machine, The Main Store, and Dannohue Designs

Eric Peterson, racer #444, rode a 2004 Ski-Doo 800 Modified in the Pro-Open Oval IWA watercross classes during the 2006 racing season.
